I was born here in Rome and I have lived here most of my life except for the four years I spent in the UK studying English and working for the Hilton chain in restaurants and bars.
Said that, I must tell you that I tend to prefer rustic food to the fine dining one.
I believe that food is a primordial need and so the necessity of it has to be fulfilled more in your stomach and mouth than just being watched and admired as a priceless piece of art.
Travelling is one of my greatest passions. In fact, I have been to 30 countries all over the world so far and I realized how Italy, sadly, is mainly know only for Pizza and Pasta and how much more exceptional and variety of ingredients we have comparing to many countries.
This is mainly the reason which brought me to run this blog. The idea is to share the culture of my country through my experience, lifestyle and knowledge as a citizen of the world and of course as a Roman.
I share that by a private function.
